LO: I can research animals to pick my brackets for the March Mammal Madness Competition

Do Now: Who would win? Justify

The pack of wolves would win because they are a coordinated group that can wear out the grizzly bear overtime. In addition, wolves are experienced in taking down big lone animals while bears usually don’t fight multiple predators simultaneously.

Over 90% of grizzly and wolf encounters end with no fatalities and fewer than 5% involve wolves successfully defending a kill against a bear. Bears are more likely to win.
